Edward Jones Highway Cleanup When: Friday September 29th Where: meet at the Ice Rink parking lot at 10 am to coordinate teams, get gloves, trash bags, etc Route: 1 mile south of the Robin Drabant Adopt a HWY sign on HWY 9 on both sides How do I sign up?: please call the office at 970-423-6141 or email:Nicole.Hammans@edwardjones.com What do I get out of it?: the reward of helping cleanup our community before the snow starts flying and lunch at Blue River Bistro after!
** Please note that we will need to make reservations at BRB no later than Wednesday Sept. 27th at 12 pm so if you are planning on participating in lunch after the cleanup we need you to signup by then. We look forward to seeing you all there! |

BOEC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization established in 1976 in Breckenridge, Colorado whose mission is to expand the potential of people with disabilities and special needs through meaningful, educational, and inspiring outdoor experiences. BOEC offers custom-designed, high-quality outdoor recreational opportunities led by well-trained professional staff and supported by over 300 volunteers. People from all over the U.S. and internationally come to participate in BOEC’s Adaptive Ski and Snowboard Program, Wilderness Program, and Internship Program. We serve over 2,500 participants each year of all ability levels including adults and children with physical and cognitive disabilities, sensory differences, veterans and their families, and other historically disadvantaged populations. The organization’s mission is to deliver inspiring creative experiences that enrich the quality of life for all residents and quality of place for visitors. Breck Create supports and serves artists, creatives, cultural enthusiasts, visitors and the community at large by providing a year-round schedule of performances, exhibitions, screenings, art classes and workshops as well as other engagement opportunities. Breck Create’s core attractions are the Riverwalk Center–a 750-seat, heated, indoor performance venue–and a lively Arts District campus of renovated historic structures that now function as studio spaces for art classes and workshops. These structures also include affordable rentals for local artists and visiting artist-in-residence participants. The Breckenridge Arts District is a certified district within the Colorado Creative Industries Creative District program. |
